The goTenna Pro app is a tactical situational awareness application designed to work in conjunction with goTenna Pro and goTenna Pro X mesh networking radio devices. This combination allows for mission-critical communications that are independent of traditional cell, WiFi, or satellite connectivity.

• Users can install the goTenna Pro app on any iOS device, pair it with a goTenna Pro or goTenna Pro X tactical radio, and utilize the mobile device to transmit crucial information such as near real-time locations, map markings sharing, and text messages even when completely off-grid.
• These tactical radios feature a 5W tunable UHF/VHF output capable of transmitting critical data from your iOS device. Furthermore, they operate as relays that securely and anonymously pass messages across up to 6 devices to extend the range.

Getting started with the app is straightforward:

1. Download the app
2. Log into the goTenna Pro Management Portal to automatically configure the necessary frequencies. Alternatively, you can provision while offline by manually entering the frequency sets.
3. Follow the app instructions to pair your goTenna Pro via Bluetooth Low-Energy

The app allows users to download satellite and topographic maps for free before going off-grid. These maps can then be used to display team location information, routes, perimeters, and various map markings. Additionally, the app offers a user-friendly interface for sending both individual and group text messages.
